This opportunity invites professional visual artists or teams to create a three-dimensional wall or ceiling-hung artwork for the Fort Wayne International Airport terminal. - Government Buyer: - Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority - Fort Wayne International Airport - Scope of Work: - Design, fabricate, and install a three-dimensional wall or ceiling-hung artwork in the meeter greeter space near baggage claim and the welcome center - Artwork must reflect Fort Wayne's aviation history and enhance the passenger experience - All aspects covered: design, materials, fabrication, lighting, transportation, installation, insurance, engineering (including Indiana-licensed structural engineer stamped drawings), and project documentation - Budget and Selection: - Total project budget: $200,000 - Up to five semifinalists will each receive a $1,500 stipend for design proposals - One finalist will be awarded the full contract - Unique Requirements: - Artwork must not be a mural - Must not impede fire suppression systems or passenger flow - Must coordinate with the primary structural steel system - Artwork must be accessible and inclusive - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; this is an open call to artists
