This opportunity from the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific seeks a prototype solution for military data synchronization: - Government Buyer: - Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors named - Focus is on the open-source Peat software tool - Products/Services Requested: - Adaptation and integration of the open-source Peat peer-to-peer (P2P) tactical data synchronization tool - Optimization of Peat for reliable data exchange in degraded, intermittent, and low-bandwidth (DIL) environments - Integration and demonstration of Peat with Government Command and Control (C2) systems - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Emphasis on software adaptation and integration, not hardware procurement - Offerors are encouraged, but not required, to have Cyber Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 - The solution must support tactical teams and unmanned systems in challenging communication conditions
Description
The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific is seeking a prototype to adapt and integrate the open-source "Peat" peer-to-peer (P2P) tactical data synchronization tool for military use. The prototype aims to optimize the Peat software to ensure reliable data exchange for tactical teams and unmanned systems operating in degraded, intermittent, and low-bandwidth communication environments. The project will culminate in the integration and demonstration of the software with Government Command and Control (C2) systems. Cyber Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is not required for award, but offerors are encouraged to obtain CMMC Level 2 certification.
