The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) is seeking a contractor for a four-year project to rehabilitate flood control infrastructure using Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining technology in the Sacramento and San Joaquin River Basins. - Government Buyer: - California Department of Water Resources (DWR) - Flood Maintenance and Operations Branch, Contract Services - Scope of Work: - Rehabilitate approximately 300 culverts and 50 gate riser manholes within State Plan of Flood Control levees - Full segment CIPP relining of culverts and full depth relining of gate riser manholes - Includes design, material supply, installation, gate removal/installation, inspections, repairs, and quality control - Additional tasks: site visits, mobilization, pipe preparation, CCTV inspections, temporary cofferdams, procurement and installation of gates, ladder work, concrete and metal repairs, traffic control, warranty inspections, and miscellaneous repairs - Products/Services Requested: - CIPP lining materials and installation - Pipe and manhole preparation and cleaning - CCTV inspections (initial and warranty) - Temporary cofferdams and flow control - Procurement, storage, delivery, removal, and installation of gates (various sizes) - Ladder removal, reinstallation, and new installation - Concrete and metal repairs, epoxy coating, reinforcing steel - Traffic control crews and laborers - Infrared spectrum testing of resin samples - Infiltration grouting and heavy cleaning - Miscellaneous and unforeseen labor, materials, and fees - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must have a valid California General Contractor license - Minimum three years of continuous experience installing CIPP liners - 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation commitment - Compliance with prevailing wage and Department of Industrial Relations registration - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Technical specifications and quality control standards are detailed in the solicitation

Description

This solicitation is for a contract to supply material, equipment, and labor to install full segment Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) linings to rehabilitate culvert pipes and perform full depth rehabilitation of gate riser manholes and appurtenances.
