Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This pre-solicitation notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24226Q0677 - Mold Remediation Lyons Campus Building 10 at the Veteran Affairs New Jersey Health Care System at 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, New Jersey 07939. This requirement shall be a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all responsible SDVOSB's may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 562910 and has a size standard of $25.0 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, supplies, sanitized, disinfected, and labeled containers, transportation, facilities, supplies, and waste manifests. Containment and setup will be established prior to remediation. All affected surfaces will be cleaned and treated with an antimicrobial solution, followed by through wipedown of all surfaces throughout the impacted area. After cleaning, encapsulation will be applied as needed. Once final air clearance testing is completed and results are confirmed negative, all contaminants will be removed and properly disposed of. Mold Remediation: Spray entire affected areas, potentially the entire room, where it is exposed with mold, with Sporicidal Disinfectants to kill any existing bacteria. Once it is completed the entire surface where it is cleaned, will be HEPA vacuumed and thoroughly cleaned with Antimicrobial Coatings and Cleaners to inhibit future mold growth (Sporicidal & Microbicide). Clean-up Procedure: Once all cleaned, the affected areas will be painted with a binding encapsulant with the active ingredient microband, to assure proper antimicrobial protection. Work should be completed within 30 days. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted. The solicitation will be released on or about June 12, 2026. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. All responses/submissions should be electronic; faxed or hand delivered proposals will not be accepted. All prospective offerors must be currently registered in sam.gov and be registered and verified as a SDVOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
