Tooele County Solid Waste is seeking bids for a turnkey solution to supply, install, and commission two above ground steel deck truck scale systems for landfill operations. - Government Buyer: - Tooele County Solid Waste (Utah) - Products and Equipment Requested: - Two (2) 70-foot-long, bidirectional above ground steel deck truck scale systems - Each scale must include: - Load cells, junction boxes, cables, NTEP-certified indicators - Scale management software and operator interfaces - RFID readers with 50 vehicle tags - Four (4) automated traffic control gates and loop detectors - Integration with Paradigm Software or equivalent - 100-ton capacity, 20 lb. division size, 40-ton concentrated load capacity - Maintenance access, electrical/control system components, approach ramp coping, ground rods, anchor bolts, surge/lightning protection - Encapsulated electronic circuit boards, stainless steel cables, bumper check system, multi-step epoxy paint - 25-year warranty on load cells, 5-year warranty on weighbridge steel and electronics - Services Requested: - Complete installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of both scale systems - Training for operators - Provision of parts and service manuals - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Turnkey, fully integrated solution - Scales must be NTEP-certified and compatible with Paradigm Software or similar - Bidders may propose alternative brands/models if performance requirements are met - Emphasis on best value: price, delivery, completeness, service/parts availability, and relevant experience - Delivery and installation expected around December 2026 - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation; opportunity is open to all qualified suppliers
