NAVFAC Europe Africa Central is seeking EU firms for a design-build renovation of the P-8A Trainer facility in Nordholz, Germany. - Government Buyer: - Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Europe Africa Central (NAVFAC EURAFCENT) - OEMs and Vendors: - Boeing (P-8A training system) - Products/Services Requested: - Renovation of Building 9 to support Boeing's P-8A training system - Renovation of rooms 127 and 128 in Building 69 for P-8A training system - Replacement of Building Management System in Buildings 6 & 9 - Structural investigation survey of Building 9 - Replacement of water-cooled chiller system in Building 9 - Installation of humidity equipment in Room 127, Building 69 - Replacement of emergency lighting central battery unit in Building 9 - Floor strengthening in rooms R9.31 & R9.106 to support batteries - Management and conditioning of water for cooling systems in Computer Room Air Conditioning units - Replacement of F30 steel stair in room R9.33 - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Project is limited to European Union (EU) firms - All renovations are to support the installation and operation of Boeing's P-8A training system - Estimated contract value is between $5 million and $10 million
