Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items This document is prepared in accordance with FAR part 12 for the acquisition of commercial items, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. The combined synopsis/solicitation will be posted to SAM.gov. The RFQ number is SPMYM426Q3431.

This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2025-06 (October 1, 2025) and DFARS Change Notice 20251110. The FSC Code is 3120 and the NAICS code is 332991, with a Small Business Standard of 1,250 employees. This requirement is being processed as unrestricted.

Evaluation criteria is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). PPIRS will be used to determine vendor responsibility. Vendors will be screened for responsibility in accordance with FAR 9.104.

This requirement is sole sourced and mandatory to TIMEKEN - Philadelphia Gear, as they are the only company with the rights to modify the MRG journal bearings as required. Quotations from other manufacturers will not be considered.

Offerors must submit descriptive literature demonstrating how their quotation meets the specifications, including a technical spec sheet and proof of traceability. Failure to provide this may result in the quotation being deemed technically unacceptable.
