NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka is seeking ship repair services for the USS PIONEER (MCM-9) at Sasebo Naval Base, Japan. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, SRF AND JRMC Yokosuka - Scope of Work: - Repair and preservation of the GATX evaporator tank in compartment 2-23-0-Q (Part Number: 38KP159301R 00 A01) - Chemical cleaning of collecting, holding, and transfer piping (Part Number: 38KP159302R 00 A01) - Each job order is for a quantity of one - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - Notable Requirements: - Only contractors with an active Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in the Japan region, or those willing to execute such agreements before award, are eligible - Contractors must be authorized to operate and do business in Japan - Compliance with cybersecurity and tax provisions is required - Period of Performance: - Work to be performed between mid-July and end of October, with delivery required by the end of October - No specific product brands or manufacturers are mandated, allowing for competition among qualified ship repair firms in Japan

This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in “JAPAN”, as prescribed by DFARS 225.1103 (3), 252.225-7042.

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka Site “ SASEBO ” intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the USS PIONEER (MCM-9) GATX EVAPORATOR TANK IN 2-23-0-Q REPAIR AND PRESERVE COLLECTING HOLDING AND TRANSFER PIPING CHEMICALLY CLEAN

to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and capable Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders in “Japan”. Please ensure that your company meets these criteria and provides any necessary documentation to demonstrate your authorization to perform this work in “ Japan “.

Contractors located OUTSIDE Japan that do NOT unambiguously demonstrate compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042 will NOT be eligible to receive an award. Any Offeror who do NOT possess an active MSRA or ABR in the Japan region, or does NOT agree to execute a master agreement (MSRA/ABR) in the Japan Region before award of a job order, will NOT be eligible to receive an award.
