FCC Florence, part of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, is seeking vendors to supply and deliver fresh, enriched bread products for fiscal year 2026, quarter 4. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCC Florence - USP - Financial Management Office - Products Requested: - Whole wheat finger hot dog rolls (pan baked, sliced, seedless) - Quantity: 3,675 units - 16 count package only - Whole wheat sandwich hamburger rolls (pan baked, sliced, seedless) - Quantity: 6,210 units - Whole wheat sandwich bread (pan baked, sliced, seedless, unseasoned) - Quantity: 44,250 units - 22-24 oz loaf, minimum 22 slices - Technical Requirements: - All bread must be enriched and meet USDA Commercial Item Description (CID) standards: - Rolls: CID A-A-20053C Type I - Bread: CID A-A-20052C Type II - Fresh bread must be delivered within 48 hours of baking - Weekly or minimum weekly deliveries, Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays) - Compliance with Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and allergen labeling - Notable Requirements: - Strict privacy, security, and compliance per DOJ regulations (PII handling, cybersecurity, whistleblower protections) - Vendors must submit bids using the provided Excel sheet; handwritten bids are not accepted - Pricing must include shipping - Past performance and price are evaluated equally - No specific OEMs or brands are named; opportunity is open to responsible vendors with a small business set-aside preference.

Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Florence, CO intends to issue solicitation, for the acquisition of Bread for delivery to the Federal Correctional Complex, Florence, CO. This acquisition has no set-aside. Terms are FOB Destination, full delivery must be completed by September 30, 2026, the contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to award to responsible vendor(s) whose offer, conforms to the solicitation, and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance will be considered approximately equal in value to price. Past Performance (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors’ quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. Please include shipping in all pricing. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 3, 2026, and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website: www.sam.gov All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments and awards, will also be distributed through this site.
