Le CSSPI cherche à établir une entente de services avec un organisme pour embaucher des intervenants dédiés aux relations école-famille-communauté dans des écoles accueillant un grand nombre d'élèves immigrants, notamment réfugiés ou demandeurs d'asile. Le rôle principal des intervenants est de soutenir les milieux scolaires dans leurs relations avec les familles immigrantes, en renforçant les partenariats pour favoriser la réussite éducative et la participation parentale. Les agents de transition accompagnent les élèves du primaire vers le secondaire, soutenant élèves, parents et écoles dans cette transition. Un coordonnateur sera également embauché pour assurer la communication fréquente avec le CSSPI et le bon fonctionnement du projet.
