Lee County Libraries seeks to execute a single-source procurement for services to issue virtual library cards and verify eligibility of library patrons for the Lee County service area by The Quipu Group, LLC. The services also allow patrons to renew library cards online through the library's website, eliminating the need to visit physical locations. The Quipu Group, LLC is currently the only vendor providing full service for virtual library cards, customer verification, and card renewal, with existing customizations integrated with the Polaris Integrated Library System. Switching vendors would result in additional costs and service disruptions. Lee County Procurement Management intends to utilize the Single Source Procurement method to purchase these services from The Quipu Group, LLC.
