The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), part of the Indian Health Service under the Department of Health and Human Services, is seeking nonpersonal outpatient Family Practice/General Medicine Physician services for the Pinon Health Center and other facilities within the Chinle Service Unit. - Government Buyer: - Indian Health Service (IHS), Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Chinle Service Unit - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; the opportunity is set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) - Products/Services Requested: - Outpatient Family Practice/General Medicine Physician services (walk-in, urgent care, primary care, and related medical duties) - 2080 hours for the base period and 2080 hours for the first option period - Services to be provided at Pinon Health Center, Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility, Pinon High School Teen Clinic, and other Navajo IHS facilities - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Providers must be certified nurse practitioners or physicians with required qualifications and cultural awareness - Services are nonpersonal and must adhere to federal medical standards and documentation requirements - Short-term assignments (13 weeks), one-year purchase orders with two additional option years, and intermittent support as needed - Focus on serving primarily Navajo and other American Indian populations - ISBEE set-aside for eligible small businesses
