Description
The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has received an application package from Crowley Fuels LLC for the renewal of an Oil Discharge Prevention and Contingency Plan (ODPCP) for the Nome Bulk Fuel Facility. The plan is required to ensure adequate resources are committed to prevent and respond to a maximum realistic oil discharge from the facility's operations. The facility includes two tank farms, an earth fill dock, warehouse, loading racks, seven aboveground storage tanks with a total capacity of 111,507.6 barrels, and associated piping. The products handled include gasoline, diesel fuel, heating fuel, Jet A, and aviation gasoline. The public comment period is open from June 3, 2026 to July 3, 2026.
