SORTA (Cincinnati Metro) is seeking a qualified vendor for a five-year contract to provide maintenance and repair services for its Radio, CAD/AVL, and APC systems across its transit fleet. - Government Buyer: - Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA), also known as Cincinnati Metro - Products/Services Requested: - Preventive maintenance for on-bus radio, CAD/AVL, and APC systems (500 units annually) - Preventive maintenance for handheld radios (65 units annually) - Preventive maintenance for fixed site equipment (6 sites annually) - Software and firmware updates/configuration (350 buses annually) - Installation and removal of APC equipment (10 installs/removals annually) - Installation and removal of equipment on fixed route and paratransit vehicles (25 and 19 units annually, respectively) - Repair and installation services, including hourly repair rates (800 hours/year) and trip charges (260 trips/year) - Notable Requirements: - Ability to service a large, diverse fleet (buses, paratransit, micro-transit) - Capability to perform software/firmware updates and manage both installation and removal of APC equipment - Asset management, warranty processing, and compliance documentation required - Vendors must provide detailed pricing, technical approach, firm qualifications, and staffing - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Locations: - Services cover Cincinnati, Hamilton County, and parts of Butler, Clermont, and Warren Counties - Work performed at SORTA facilities and on transit vehicles
