Description
The INFRA program aims to fund surface transportation infrastructure projects of national or regional significance that improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of moving people and goods, and expand safe, accessible public parking for commercial motor vehicles. Approximately $626.7 million is available, including funds from FY 2023, FY 2024, and FY 2026 specifically for commercial motor vehicle parking projects. Funding is administered through two tracks: Track 1 supports surface transportation projects of national and regional significance, and Track 2 is dedicated to commercial motor vehicle parking projects. Eligible applicants include states, local governments, tribal governments, metropolitan planning organizations, and other entities. Applications must identify the funding track and only one application per applicant is allowed.
