Description
This notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is for the FY26 Technology and Equipment Program (TEP), which provides noncompetitive, invitational funding to state, territorial, local, Tribal, and other designated entities to develop and acquire law enforcement equipment, technologies, and interoperable communications. The program aims to assist in responding to and preventing crime and to expand community policing implementation. Equipment funded must meet applicable requirements of the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Office of Law Enforcement Standards. Eligible applicants include various government entities and federally recognized Native American tribal governments.
