This opportunity is for the follow-on production of replacement Fuze Assemblies for the Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) fleet, managed by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. - The Fuze Assembly (Impact Sensor) is a G-force operated switch with three sensors, providing output signals to the Warhead Arming Device. - Boeing Guidance Repair Center (BGRC) is the sole source OEM, holding exclusive data rights and specialized tooling for the Fuze Assembly. - Market research confirms BGRC as the only capable manufacturer; no viable competition exists due to proprietary data and technical risks. - The contract is necessary to sustain the ALCM fleet beyond 2030 and avoid production gaps, as the current contract expires in May 2026. - No acquisition of data rights is planned, and schedule impacts for new sources could add up to three years delay. - Place of performance is Heath, Ohio, at BGRC's facility. - No specific part numbers or quantities are provided in the documentation. - The procurement is classified under NAICS code 336419 (Other Guided Missile and Space Vehicle Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing).
Period of Performance - Current contract expires May 2026; deliveries continue through April 2026. - Follow-on contract required to ensure timely replacement of Fuzes before 2030.
OEM and Competition - Sole source: Boeing Guidance Repair Center (BGRC) - No viable competitors due to proprietary data and technical requirements
Product Details - Replacement Fuze Assemblies for ALCM - Highly specialized, proprietary component

Description
AF 1067 was signed in 2015 confirming the need for a replacement to the Air Launch Cruise Missile's (ALCM) Imppact Sensor, also know as the Fuze Assembly. The Fuze Assembly has three seperate sensors located at strategic points within the ALCM. These sensors provide an output signal to the Warhead Arming Device. Mechanically, the Fuze assembly is a G-force operated switch. the effort will be a follow on contract to produce the required Fuzes needed to sustain ALCM past 2030.
