Description
This project involves hazard tree removal, thinning from below, surface fuel reduction, pruning, and debris removal in parkland and interface forest areas within the District of North Vancouver. It is a provincially approved wildfire risk reduction initiative, jointly funded by UBCM CRI Program and the District of North Vancouver. The total funded area covers 32.8 hectares, divided into two treatment units: Seymour River (3.8 ha) and Indian River Drive (29.0 ha). The contract duration is estimated to be 21 months, including potential extensions.
