Description
The City of Chilliwack requires the services of a Consultant to provide engineering services for the Fairfield Island Source Water Feasibility Study. The selected Consultant should complete a desktop and field-based source water feasibility study, including exploratory borehole drilling, in the Fairfield Island area up to 1 km north and west of the Fairfield Island neighbourhood in Chilliwack. The study aims to assess groundwater quality and aquifer productivity to provide source water for agricultural processing and the City’s potable water supply. Field-based work should be completed during the summer to account for climate change impacts on local groundwater.
