Irving ISD General Maintenance and Facilities Services (Multiple Trades)

Irving Independent School District (ISD) is seeking qualified vendors to provide a broad range of general maintenance and facilities services for its schools and facilities. - Scope of Services: - Includes carpentry, millwork, sheet metal fabrication, painting, plumbing, electrical, moving, welding, bricklaying, locksmith, automotive repair, crane services, and repair technicians for large kitchen equipment and small appliances - Device repair services for student and staff devices - Additional services: audio visual maintenance, bus washing, cabinetry, flooring, concrete/asphalt, disaster recovery, equipment repair, fence installation, floor refinishing, generator maintenance, glass/window replacement, golf cart repair, HVAC/refrigeration, irrigation, landscaping, LED lighting, lift/pallet jack repair, locker equipment repair, oil change/vehicle inspection, parking lot striping, power washing, roof repair, safety/security consulting, school bus service, signage, tile repair, towing, transportation services, used tire removal, waste oil removal, welding, and other related services - Contract Structure: - Short-term project contracts with an initial one-year term - Option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods (maximum five years) - Multiple vendors may be awarded contracts - Requirements: - Vendors must provide hourly rates and discounts for parts/materials - Compliance with safety, legal, and operational requirements is emphasized - Electronic submission of proposals is preferred; paper bids accepted only as legally required - Mandatory completion of federal forms (EDGAR) and insurance certificates - Vendors currently holding related contracts must reapply - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to all qualified providers - Place of Performance and Delivery: - Services to be performed at Irving ISD facilities, including the Facilities Warehouse at 3620 Valley View, Irving, TX 75062 - Contracting office located at 2621 W Airport Fwy, Irving, TX 75062 - Billing address: Accounts Payable, PO Box 152637, Irving, TX 75015

Description

Irving Independent School District is seeking highly qualified respondents for the "as needed" purchase of general services for maintenance and facilities. The contract includes various crafts and trades such as carpenters, painters, plumbers, electricians, welders, locksmith services, automotive repair, and repair technicians for large kitchen and small appliances. The district will award the contract to multiple respondents for a term of one year with an option to renew for up to four additional years. Proposals must be submitted electronically by June 9, 2026, and questions must be submitted by May 28, 2026.
