The U.S. Embassy Banjul, under the Department of State, is seeking bids for a comprehensive safety improvement project at the CMR compound. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Banjul - Contracting Officer: Peter Hamm - Scope of Work: - Repair and replacement of walkways, stairways, patio, and gazebo surfaces - Removal of existing pavers, stones, and sunken areas - Installation of non-slip floor tiles and approved outdoor pavers - Installation of ABA-compliant handrails on stairways (North and South) - Repair or replacement of storm drainage system, including damaged concrete drainage blocks - Replacement and reconnection of plumbing for a prefabricated sink in the pool cabana entertainment space - Debris disposal and final site cleanup - Products/Services Requested: - Non-slip floor tiles (walkways, stairways) - Approved pavers and outdoor tiles (walkways, patio) - ABA-compliant handrails - Concrete drainage blocks - Prefabricated sink in cabinet - Construction and repair services (including supervision and management) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All handrails must be ABA-compliant - All work must be completed within 30 calendar days after Notice to Proceed - Compliance with safety and quality standards is mandatory - Project includes both construction and plumbing elements - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are specified in the solicitation - Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable bidder

Description

The US Embassy Banjul wishes to solicit bids for repairing the walkways, stairways, patio, and gazebo in the CMR compound. The repairs will include the removal of all existing pavers, stones, and sunken areas in the walkways and stairways, followed by their replacement with non-slip floor tiles. Additionally, the project will include repairing the storm drainage system and meeting safety requirements by installing handrails as per the attached scope of work (SOW). U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable quotation at the lowest price.
