The U.S. Space Force at Patrick Space Force Base is seeking a small business contractor to provide corrosion control and exterior painting services for a metal Conex building (Building 417). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Space Force, 46th Test Squadron, Operating Location A (46 TS/OL-A) - Contracting managed by FA2521 45 CONS PK at Patrick SFB - OEMs and Vendors: - Sherwin Williams (specified for Pro-Cryl primer and Pro Industrial paint) - Wet abrasive blast equipment brands listed as examples: CleanerBlast, EcoQuip, Farrow System, GeoBlaster, GBT Greener Blast, Torbo (or approved equals) - Products/Services Requested: - Corrosion control and exterior painting of an 8x20 metal Conex (Building 417) - Use of Sherwin Williams Pro-Cryl primer and Pro Industrial paint, RAL1001 or approved equal - Abrasive blast media per SSPC AB 1 Type I or II Class A steel grit or Recyclable Encapsulated Abrasive Media per SSPC AB-4 - Wet abrasive blast equipment (commercially available slurry blasting systems or approved equal) - Oil and moisture free compressed air system compliant with ASTM D4285 - Labor, equipment, and materials for surface preparation, cleaning, de-rusting, de-scaling, painting, and quality control - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards - Surface preparation must meet SSPC standards - Three-year unconditional warranty on labor and materials - Strict access and security protocols for work on base - 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 238320 - Firm-fixed-price contract for one Conex building - Work hours limited to weekdays, excluding federal holidays and the Christmas/New Year period
