The Department of Labor's Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is seeking a contractor to replace the HVAC system at its Approval and Certification Center in Triadelphia, WV. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), Approval and Certification Center (A&C) - OEMs and Vendors: - Carrier (specified as the OEM for chiller and air handler units, or equivalent products) - Products/Services Requested: - 150-ton Carrier chiller or equivalent (quantity: 1) - Carrier AERO custom air handler 39CC unit or equivalent, 65,500 cfm (quantity: 1) - Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes (quantity: 1) - Dedicated digital controls (quantity: 1) - Labor for installation, including removal of old units, mechanical/electrical connections, startup, and testing - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Equipment must be Carrier brand or equivalent - Installation includes full removal of old equipment and integration of new digital controls - Work must begin within 30 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 365 days - Removal of old equipment must start within 5 days after delivery of new units - Total Small Business Set-Aside; firm-fixed-price contract - Place of Performance: - MSHA Approval and Certification Center, 765 Technology Drive, Building 1, Triadelphia, WV 26059
Description
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE), on behalf of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), has a need for the replacement of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) components located at 775 Technology Drive, Triadelphia, WV 26059, in accordance with this Request for Proposal (RFP).
This RFP will result in a single award.
The Period of Performance shall be Upon Receipt of Award to 365 Days After Award.
This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
Tradeoff source selection procedures will be utilized.
