The object of this sole source award to equip Wildlife Inspectors and Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) Policy Specialists with essential access to the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Live Animals Regulations (LAR) and Perishable Cargo Regulations (PCR). The IATA LAR and PCR establish global standards for the transport of live animals and plants and is incorporated by reference in U.S. regulations governing wildlife imports. Access to these standards is critical for inspectors and CITES Policy Specialists to ensure compliance with both national and international requirements, specifically those outlined in 50 CFR Part 14 Subpart J and 50 CFR 23.23.This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities.
