Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is a component of the Department of the Treasury that Designs, Engraves, and Prints U.S Banknote Currency and other U.S Security Products. Banknote Currency Manufacturing occurs at Washington, DC and Fort Worth, TX. BEP’s primary customer is the Federal Reserve Board (FRB).

The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase a new environmental chamber that is capable of maintaining a temperature and humidity environment within a certain specification. Paper materials must be kept within a standard environment for a certain period of time before sample testing can occur. As a result, BEP requires a new environmental chamber in order to set these conditions and improve lab efficiency.

The Contractor shall provide equipment that meets or exceeds the technical requirements stated under Section C.3: Technical Requirements of the SOW. BEP will only accept new equipment.
