Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is seeking Canadian suppliers to provide urgent civil work services across its Ontario Region institutions. - Government Buyer: - Correctional Service Canada (CSC), Ontario Region - Contracting and Materiel Services Office - Scope of Work: - Emergency repairs for water line breaks, sewage line breaks, and asphalt reinstatement - Services required in three service areas: Kingston and Surrounding Area, Greater Toronto Area and Kitchener, and Gravenhurst - Work includes isolation, excavation, repair or replacement of pipes, valves, and fittings; disinfection and pressure testing; asphalt removal and restoration; traffic and safety management; environmental protection; and comprehensive documentation and closeout - Key Requirements: - 24/7 availability with rapid response within 3 hours of emergency call-up - Compliance with all safety, environmental, and institutional security protocols - Provision of all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision - Detailed daily logs, as-built drawings, test reports, and closeout documentation within 48 hours of completion - Environmental controls such as erosion and sediment management, and proper handling of contaminated materials - Contract Details: - Standing Offer period of 60 months (5 years), with a possible 6-month transition extension - Multiple standing offers may be awarded per service area - Total contract ceiling of approximately $2,260,000 CAD (excluding taxes), with individual call-ups limited to $75,000 - Notable Locations: - Work to be performed at multiple federal correctional institutions and facilities, including Collins Bay Institution, Millhaven Institution, Bath Institution, Joyceville Institutions, Warkworth Institution, Grand Valley Institution for Women, Keele Street CCC, Beaver Creek Institution, and various regional headquarters and health services offices - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are named, as the procurement is for service-based civil repair work

Description

The Correctional Service Canada requires urgent civil work including water line breaks, sewage line breaks, and asphalt reinstatement. The work aims to protect people and assets, minimize service downtime, comply with codes and standards, and restore surfaces to equal or better than pre-work condition. The Ontario Region is divided into three service areas: Kingston and Surrounding Area, Greater Toronto Area and Kitchener, and Gravenhurst. More than one Standing Offer may be awarded per service area, with a contract duration of 60 months starting from July 1, 2026.
