The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking contractors to repair and upgrade the heating system in the Cutter Support Building at its Sitka, Alaska facility. - Government Buyer: - United States Coast Guard (USCG), 17th District - Contracting office: Base Ketchikan/Juneau - Project managed by the Commanding Officer, USCG Cutter Kukui - Products and Equipment: - Replacement of two hydronic unit heaters in the mechanical room - Specified model: Modine Model V 59S01 or equivalent - Quantity: 2 units - Includes all associated shut-off valves, unions, and fittings for a complete installation - Services Requested: - Removal of existing heaters - Installation of new in-kind or equivalent hydronic unit heaters - System servicing, including draining, refilling, purging, and testing - Cleanup and debris removal - Delivery of manuals and test results upon completion - Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with safety and environmental regulations - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment - Shipping costs must be included (FOB destination) - Site visit required for interested contractors - Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror, subject to funding - OEMs: - Modine is specified as the reference OEM for the hydronic unit heaters, but equivalent products are acceptable - Place of Performance and Delivery: - United States Coast Guard facility, 1480 Seward Ave, Sitka, AK 99835 - Work specifically at the Cutter Support Building and Sitka Moorings
