The Department of Defense, through the Air Force District of Washington and the 316th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, is seeking hotel lodging and conference room accommodations for a medium-sized government conference in the National Capitol Region. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense (DoD) - U.S. Air Force, 316th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews - Products/Services Requested: - Hotel lodging for 150 guests (single rooms at or below government per diem rate) - Main conference room rental for 200 attendees - Eight breakout rooms, each seating approximately 30 people - Wifi connectivity for all participants - Audio/visual equipment for main conference room: - 2 screens, projector, podium, speakers, at least 4 microphones, wired internet for teleconferencing - Audio/visual equipment for breakout rooms: - Each room includes 1 screen, 1 projector, speaker, at least 4 microphones, wired internet for teleconferencing - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Venue must be within 10-20 miles of Joint Base Andrews, MD, in Virginia, Washington D.C., or Maryland - All accommodations and conference spaces must meet government per diem rates - Daily service hours from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. for the duration of the conference - Wired internet required for teleconferencing in all rooms - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - All requirements are detailed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) - Place of performance is prioritized for federal facilities and military bases in the National Capitol Region, especially near Joint Base Andrews, MD

Description

The Government is hosting a conference from 24-28 August 2026 and requires accomodations for 150 guests, as well as a main conference room and eight breakout rooms. The conference room needs to be able to accomodate 200 attendees and the breakout rooms need to be able to seat roughly 30 people each. There is also a need for wifi connectivity for all participants. For more details please refer to the attached PWS.
