The Military Sealift Command Norfolk, under the Department of the Navy, is seeking up to two vessels for a 23-day dry cargo time charter to transport containerized ammunition. - Government Buyer: - Military Sealift Command Norfolk, Strategic Sealift Program Support Office, N103A - Primary Requirement: - Charter of up to two vessels, each capable of carrying a minimum of 150 TEUs of containerized ammunition - Vessels must be U.S. or foreign flag, self-sustaining, and certified for hazardous material compatibility (hazard classes 1.1 to 1.4) - Maximum vessel length: 825 feet; maximum laden draft: 33.8 feet; minimum speed: 13 knots - Must include lashing gear, spreader bar, segregation and stowage for Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E), and vessel certifications (COI and Document of Compliance) - Minimum two supercargo required per vessel - Place of Performance: - Delivery from Souda Bay, Greece, to Nordenham, Germany - Unique Requirements: - Compliance with hazardous material regulations - Segregation and stowage of munitions - Vessel certifications and specialized gear - No specific OEMs or named vendors are referenced; vessel providers must meet technical and regulatory standards
