SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, operated by Stanford University for the U.S. Department of Energy, is soliciting firm fixed price proposals for Injector Corrector Power Supply Systems to upgrade the SPEAR Injector Corrector. - Government Buyer: - SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (DOE Contractor), Menlo Park, CA - Administered by Ryan Enos, Senior Subcontract Administrator - Products/Services Requested: - Injector Corrector Power Supply Systems - 91 power supply modules with associated crates - Output: 20 V, 6 A, current stability < 50 PPM, linear topology - Form factor: at least 1.5 modules per 1.75" rack unit in a 19" rack - Ethernet interface compatible with EPICS control system - NRTL certification required - Comprehensive documentation, including electrical drawings - Remote technical support during installation, startup, and commissioning - EPICS control system integration (hardware/software) - Quantities: - 91 power supply modules (with some references to 72 systems, but 91 modules is consistent across documents) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - U.S. domestic end item source required - Delivery required within 16 weeks after receipt of order - Compliance with DOE-approved purchasing systems - Inspection and acceptance at SLAC - Emphasis on improved reliability, performance, and diagnostic capabilities - All technical and business proposal documentation must be completed - No specific OEMs or part numbers are named in the solicitation - Place of Performance/Delivery: - SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, 2575 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025

Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory invites interested vendors to submit a proposal in accordance with the attached RFP preparation requirements for Injector Corrector Power Supplies. Any clarifications requests are due by Tuesday, June 9th. Your full proposal must be received no later than Monday, June 15th, 5pm PDT.
