The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive generator testing, repair, and maintenance services for the VA Black Hills Health Care System in South Dakota. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23 (Des Moines, IA and Saint Paul, MN) - Place of performance: Fort Meade VA Medical Center, Hot Springs VA Medical Center, and VA Clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific generator OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Products/Services Requested: - Semi-annual preventive maintenance inspections and services for emergency generators - Annual load bank testing of all emergency generators per NFPA 110 standards - Emergency repair services with a required four-hour response time - Records management, privacy, and information security compliance training for contractor personnel - Product/Service Line Items: - Generator Maintenance and Repair Services (Base Year and four one-year options; part numbers: 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, 4001) - Semi-Annual Preventive Maintenance Inspections and Services (2 per year) - Annual Load Bank Testing (1 per year) - Emergency Repair Services (as needed) - VA Privacy Training (TMS 20939) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Emergency response time must not exceed four hours - Compliance with federal records management, privacy, and information security regulations - Inspection reports required within 30 days of service - Main station generator at Bldg. 155 requires load-bank testing every other year starting with the first option year - Contract includes a base year plus four one-year option periods, with an additional six-month extension option - Period of Performance: - Base year plus four one-year options, with possible six-month extension - Locations: - Fort Meade VA Medical Center, Hot Springs VA Medical Center, VA Clinic in Rapid City (all in South Dakota)
