Description
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is conducting an evaluation of the Emergency Communications Division (ECD) Interoperable Communications Technical Assistance Program (ICTAP) Training Program. The program has trained emergency communication professionals in seven core specialties to prepare responders for critical communication roles during catastrophic incidents. The evaluation aims to assess the extent to which the training creates and maintains a qualified group of credentialed responders and how the training contributes to enhanced interoperability and communication planning among federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial organizations. Data will be collected through surveys and interviews of individuals who attended the training between 2007 and 2022. Comments on the evaluation are accepted until August 3, 2026.
