Salem-Keizer Public Schools in Oregon is seeking a contractor to provide Dual Language Professional Development services for its PreK-12 programs. - Government Buyer: - Salem-Keizer Public Schools (District 24J), Procurement & Contracting Services - Scope of Services: - Consultation and professional development to support Dual Language instructional approaches - Professional learning sessions, collaborative planning, and site visits - Job-embedded coaching for teachers and administrators - Ongoing consultation and follow-up support with district staff - Development of a comprehensive PreK-12 Biliteracy framework - Implementation of a train-the-trainer model - Focus on biliteracy, bilingualism, academic achievement, and sociocultural competence - Services must address effective biliteracy instructional practices, cross-linguistic connections, and culturally and linguistically sustaining pedagogy - Key Requirements: - Services must support improved bilingual reading achievement, increased graduation rates for English language learners, and enhanced family engagement - Provider must be qualified in educational professional development for Dual Language programs - No specific OEMs or vendors are mandated; open to all qualified providers - Contract Details: - Initial term of two years, with two one-year renewal options (potential total of four years) - Cost must remain firm for the entire contract term - Contract may be extended by mutual agreement and is contingent on funding availability - Place of Performance: - Salem-Keizer Public Schools District Office and other district facilities in Salem, Oregon
