Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive groundwater monitoring, sampling, and reporting services at four major PGW sites in Philadelphia. - Government Buyer: - Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), managed by the Philadelphia Facilities Management Corporation (PFMC) - Scope of Work: - Quarterly groundwater sampling, well inspection, development, and maintenance at Passyunk Plant, Richmond Plant, Tioga Yard, and 9th and Diamond Meter Shop - Analytical laboratory testing of groundwater samples for VOCs, SVOCs, metals, and PADEP gasoline shortlists using EPA-approved methods at PADEP-accredited labs - Preparation and submission of quarterly reports to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) to comply with Act 2 standards - Management and disposal of investigation-derived waste, including hazardous and non-hazardous purge water - Compliance with OSHA HAZWOPER, site-specific health and safety plans, and all relevant safety and regulatory requirements - Product/Service Details: - Monitoring and reporting for a total of 62 shallow and 27 deep monitoring wells, plus 2 piezometers across four sites - Laboratory analysis using EPA methods 8260, 8270/SIM, 6010, and 8011 - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must have technical qualifications, appropriate personnel, licensing, and insurance - Lump sum pricing per site and electronic invoicing required - Mandatory participation in a pre-proposal conference call - Notable Interested Vendors (potential competitors): - BATTA Environmental Associates, BL Companies Pennsylvania, Colliers Engineering & Design, Devcare Solutions, GEI Consultants, GZA GeoEnvironmental, PS&S, Terracon Consultants, Tetra Tech - Contract Term: - Four years with an option for a fifth year - Place of Performance: - All work to be performed at PGW facilities in Philadelphia: Passyunk Plant, Richmond Plant, Tioga Yard, and 9th and Diamond Meter Shop
