St. Johns County is seeking to enhance its Sheriff's Office Training Center with new mobile canopy systems: - Government Buyer: - St. Johns County Purchasing Department, supporting the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office Training Center - OEMs and Vendors: - CoverShot (manufacturer of the Canopy Eclipse) - Equivalent manufacturers are permitted, expanding eligible OEMs - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) mobile training canopy systems (CoverShot Canopy Eclipse or equivalent) - Purpose: Provide covered firing line infrastructure for outdoor training - Must protect against sun, heat, UV, and inclement weather - Must meet requirements in Exhibit A – Scope of Work - Turnkey services including: - Design, fabrication, delivery, assembly, commissioning, and training - All labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, unloading, assembly, testing, startup, and training - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Turnkey solution: Contractor responsible for all aspects from design to training - Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and industry standards - Equivalent products to CoverShot Canopy Eclipse are acceptable, broadening competition - Systems intended to improve training efficiency and reduce weather-related interruptions

Description

This solicitation is for the design, fabrication, delivery, assembly, commissioning, and training of two mobile training canopy systems, specifically CoverShot Canopy Eclipse or an equivalent, for the St. John's County Sheriff's Office Training Center. The systems are intended to provide covered firing line infrastructure to protect instructors and students from sun exposure, heat stress, UV radiation, and inclement weather, thereby improving training efficiency and reducing weather-related interruptions. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, unloading, assembly, testing, startup, and training to deliver a complete turnkey system. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and industry standards. Delivery and installation must be completed by or before September 1st, 2026.
