Waukesha County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to design and upgrade the jail intercom system by replacing the current analog system with a digital solution that enhances capabilities while maintaining current functionalities. The contractor will provide detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for a ten-year ownership period. An optional component includes replacing the entire PLC system in the jail, which must be submitted as a separate cost proposal. The new system must integrate with existing inmate security software, including Avigilon camera call-ups interfaced with WonderWare, and maintain duress alarm functionalities that interact with WonderWare, showing alarm locations throughout the jail.
