The City of Tucson Fire Department is seeking a single contractor to supply pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and automated distribution solutions for its Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Section. - Government Buyer: - City of Tucson Fire Department (TFD), with Tucson Police Department also utilizing the contract for durable goods distribution - OEMs and Vendors: - VendNovation (vending machines, smart lockers, and software) - Wittern IDS and Optima Helix (existing vending hardware) - Products and Services Requested: - Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS & ALS) pharmaceuticals and medical supplies for EMTs and paramedics - VendNovation brand vending machines and smart lockers for secure, automated supply distribution - VendNovation software for inventory and vending management (no alternatives permitted) - Maintenance and support for VendNovation hardware and software - Distribution services for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Continued use of existing VendNovation and Operative IQ inventory software platforms is mandatory - City currently owns Wittern IDS and Optima Helix vending machines and lockers; new solutions must integrate with these - No alternative vending or software solutions will be accepted - Contract consolidates previously separate procurements for pharmaceuticals/supplies and VendNovation hardware/software - Purchases will be made on an as-needed basis, with the option to acquire newer models or technologies as they become available
