The Office of the Fire Marshal is procuring Firefighter Structural Gloves, Extrication Gloves, and Firefighter Balaclava Particulate Hoods to equip over 800 volunteer firefighters serving 47 rural communities in Northern Ontario. The equipment is intended to provide protection during structural firefighting operations and non-fire related rescue operations, emergency medical operations, and victim extrication. All deliverables must be new; demonstration models, used, refurbished, or prototype items will not be accepted. The procurement is conducted through an open route and includes multiple lots.
