Description

The project involves the replacement of approximately 172 lead service lines and associated appurtenances at various locations within the Aquarion Water Company of CT distribution system in Southwestern Connecticut. Existing lead and galvanized portions of the water service lines and associated components containing lead will be completely removed. New copper pipes (Type “K”), corporation stops, curb boxes, and isolation valves will be installed as replacements. The project is funded by the Connecticut Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, part of the US EPA program.
