The U.S. Army Garrison Fort Benning is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive grounds maintenance services across approximately 184,000 acres and over 5,000 buildings at Fort Benning, Georgia. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Garrison Fort Benning, Directorate of Public Works - Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Benning - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - Grounds maintenance services including: - Mowing and trimming (approx. 6,400 acres every 14 days) - Edging flowerbeds, sidewalks, curbs, and concrete areas - Trimming grass and weeds around fixed objects - Seeding, turf repair, aerating, and overseeding (approx. 100 acres annually) - Flower bed maintenance (approx. 10,000 sq. ft. annually) - Herbicide application (parade and athletic fields only) - Debris, leaves, and litter removal - Tree pruning and emergency tree removal (urgent response within 2 hours) - Hedge and shrub fertilization and pruning - Special services and event support (VIP visits, ceremonies) - Irrigation, fertilization, policing of areas - Contractor must provide all personnel, management, tools, supplies, transportation, labor, equipment, and materials - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Excludes Main Post Cemetery, Golf Course, Lawson Army Airfield, snow removal/salting of sidewalks, MWR, AAFES, DECA, DOD Schools, and Martin Community Hospital (MACH) - Security clearances, training, and quality control required - Urgent tree removal and pruning must be completed within 2 hours of notification - One-year warranty on plant replacements - Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations - 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBS) and small business under NAICS 561730 - Period of Performance: - One 12-month base year with four 12-month option years (total potential duration: 5 years) - Place of Performance: - Fort Benning, Georgia (including Main Post, Sand Hill, Kelley Hill, Harmony Church, Camp Rogers, Ranges, training areas, and Battle Park) - Contracting and government offices located at Fort Benning

Description

The Contractor shall inspect, service, maintain, and landscape grounds at Fort Benning, Georgia. The work shall include scheduling and performance of mowing and trimming; turf replacement; leaf and debris removal; tree, hedge, and shrub planting, maintenance; policing of areas; The Contractor shall provide all work necessary to maintain the grounds to the standards specified herein. The Contractor shall maintain Improved, Semi-Improved, and Un-Improved Grounds as identified in this PWS. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, tools, supplies, transportation, labor, equipment, and other items and services necessary to perform Grounds maintenance services as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS), The Contractor shall perform grounds maintenance services to the standards in this contract and in a manner that will maintain grounds in a satisfactory condition and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. The Main Post Cemetery, Golf Course, Lawson Army Airfield, Snow Removal and Salting Sidewalks. MWR, AAFES, DECA, DOD Schools and Martin Community Hospital (MACH) are not included in this PWS.
