The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to install and connect fiber optic infrastructure at Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve in Idaho. - Government Buyer: - National Park Service (NPS), Department of the Interior - Offices involved: PWR OLYM MABO (Port Angeles, WA) and South Idaho Parks - Products and Services Requested: - Installation of a minimum 24-strand single-mode fiber optic cable and conduit - Fiber optic infrastructure to connect 8 park buildings, covering approximately 19 miles - Mobilization, surface preparation (including boring and digging), installation, tie-in, and demobilization - Provision of all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals - Fiber test certifications and redlined as-built drawings required - Compliance with Davis-Bacon wage rates and Buy American construction material provisions - Site-specific safety plans, inspections, and daily logs required - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named in the solicitation - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Installation must use plowing and boring methods along a designated route from Arco to the park - Coordination with Idaho Transportation Department and NPS - Environmental compliance and site restoration are required - Lump sum pricing for major project phases - Delivery and completion required within 100-120 days after notice to proceed
