The U.S. Army at Fort Benning, Georgia, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive grounds maintenance services across approximately 184,000 acres and over 5,000 buildings at Fort Benning and associated areas. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, U.S. Army Garrison Fort Benning, Directorate of Public Works - Contracting office: W6QM MICC-FT BENNING - Scope of Services: - Full-spectrum grounds maintenance, including: - Mowing and trimming (approx. 6,400 acres of high-visibility areas every 14 days) - Edging, turf repair, seeding, and aeration (approx. 100 acres annually) - Flower bed maintenance (approx. 10,000 sq. ft. annually) - Herbicide application (limited to parade and athletic fields) - Debris, leaf, and litter removal - Tree pruning, emergency tree removal, and hedge/shrub fertilization and pruning - Special event and emergency support services - Contractor must provide all personnel, management, equipment, tools, supplies, and materials - Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations required - Security clearances, staff training, and quality control are mandatory - Exclusions: - Main Post Cemetery, Golf Course, Lawson Army Airfield, snow removal/salting of sidewalks, MWR, AAFES, DECA, DOD Schools, and Martin Community Hospital - No specific OEMs, part numbers, or proprietary products are referenced - 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 561730 (Landscaping Services) - Notable Requirements: - Rapid response for emergency tree removal (within 2 hours) - One-year warranty on plant replacements - Monthly herbicide usage reporting and immediate spill notification - Support for special events and VIP visits - Period of Performance: - One 12-month base year with four 12-month option years (total potential duration: 5 years) - Place of Performance: - Fort Benning, Georgia, including Main Post, Sand Hill, Kelley Hill, Harmony Church, Camp Rogers, Ranges, Training Areas, and Battle Park - Contracting and government offices located at Fort Benning - No OEMs or proprietary vendors are specified; the opportunity is open to qualified small business service providers

Description

The Contractor shall inspect, service, maintain, and landscape grounds at Fort Benning, Georgia. The work shall include scheduling and performance of mowing and trimming; turf replacement; leaf and debris removal; tree, hedge, and shrub planting, maintenance; policing of areas; The Contractor shall provide all work necessary to maintain the grounds to the standards specified herein. The Contractor shall maintain Improved, Semi-Improved, and Un-Improved Grounds as identified in this PWS. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, tools, supplies, transportation, labor, equipment, and other items and services necessary to perform Grounds maintenance services as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS), The Contractor shall perform grounds maintenance services to the standards in this contract and in a manner that will maintain grounds in a satisfactory condition and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. The Main Post Cemetery, Golf Course, Lawson Army Airfield, Snow Removal and Salting Sidewalks. MWR, AAFES, DECA, DOD Schools and Martin Community Hospital (MACH) are not included in this PWS.
