The Department of the Navy, through the Regional Contracting Office at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island, is seeking information from vendors for advanced dishwasher waste handling systems for food service operations. - Buyer: Department of the Navy, Regional Contracting Office, MCRD Parris Island - Requirement: Two (2) dishwasher waste handling systems - Each system must feature: - 7.5 HP grinder motor - 30" slurry chamber - 3 HP water extractor - 12" stainless steel disk - (4) stationary blocks with (2) cutting surfaces - (2) stainless steel shearing blades - HMI/PLC touch screen controls with onboard diagnostics and proactive maintenance software - Auto fill, automated clean cycle/extractor flushing system, deodorizer pump, automatic drain - Trough connection and re-circulating pump, stop/start station, flanged feet with vibration dampening pad - Maximum processing capacity of 1000 lbs/hr for food service waste (including food scraps, paper, plastic, and cardboard) - 1-year standard parts and labor warranty - Voltage: 480V, 3-phase, 20 amps or less - No installation services required - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - NAICS code: 332215 (Metal Kitchen Cookware, Utensil, Cutlery, and Flatware (except Precious) Manufacturing) - Vendors are invited to submit capability statements demonstrating their ability to meet these technical requirements

Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) 

The Regional Contracting Office is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) as a means of collecting information that will identify parties that have an interest in and the resources to provide Two (2) Dishwasher Waste System to include 1 year parts and labor (standard),  and voltage 480/3 phase (20 amps or less) for Food Services at Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island.   

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 332215.

There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
