Description
The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) is seeking public input to evaluate the utility of its product portfolio, identify critical data gaps in the national transportation picture, and improve the user experience for all stakeholders. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to guide the strategic alignment of BTS's products with the technical and analytical needs of the public amid evolving transportation technologies and supply chain changes. BTS invites responses from data scientists, AI and machine learning experts, statisticians, economists, and the public to help modernize and enhance its data offerings. Comments are due by July 2, 2026, and an informational webinar will be held on June 17, 2026.
