NASA is seeking capability statements for the custom fabrication and delivery of three Modular Intelligent Power Sources (MIPS) systems to support instrument operations at Goddard Space Flight Center. - Government Buyer: - NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC), with technical requirements from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (Code 699) - OEMs and Vendors: - GAA Custom Electronics LLC is identified as the intended sole source provider - Products/Services Requested: - Three custom fabricated Modular Intelligent Power Sources (MIPS) systems - System 1: 24 DC bias output channels (+/-250V), analog input control per channel, current monitoring - System 2: 8 DC bias output channels (+/-250V), analog input control, ESI modules for fixed -500V and adjustable detector voltages on SHV connectors - System 3: Quadrupole RF system with three frequencies (3.01MHz, 1.43MHz, 0.85MHz), computer-controlled tuning, filament control with closed-loop heater and emission current control - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Custom fabrication per detailed Statement of Work (SOW) - Delivery to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD - Capability statements required; not a request for quote or pricing at this stage - Emphasis on technical capability to meet NASA's custom power system needs - Place of Performance and Delivery: - NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Maryland - Estimated delivery timeline: First two systems within 12-16 weeks of award, third system within an additional 8 weeks
