Description
The National Park Service (Service) provides notice of the release of a Prospectus to solicit proposals for the award of up to three (3) Concession Contracts (CC-CANY0XX-27) to provide guided interpretive backcountry vehicle tours within Canyonlands National Park (CANY), Arches National Park (ARCH) and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area (GLCA) (“Area”). The effective date of the next Concession Contract(s) is expected to be January 1, 2027.
The Prospectus explains the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the Concession Contract. The Prospectus will be available at the link below.
Site Visit The NPS will not host a site visit in association with this solicitation. Interested offerors are encouraged to visit Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area to familiarize themselves with the area.
Questions Due If you do not understand something in this Prospectus, you must submit your questions or comments to the Service via email to imr_concessions@nps.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time on June 25, 2026. The questions must be in a format that allows the Service to copy them to Microsoft Word.
Notice of Intent to Propose If you plan to submit a proposal in response to this solicitation, you must notify the Service via email at imr_concessions@nps.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time on July 31, 2026. The Service will not accept proposals from entities that do not provide notice on or before that date.
Submission of an electronic proposal In order to be evaluated and considered for award of a Concession Contract, the Electronic Proposal must be received by the Service no later than 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time on September 1, 2026.
After the Notice of Intent to Propose deadline and prior to the electronic proposal submission deadline, you will receive a welcome email message from the Service's Microsoft Teams platform at the email address you provided when you notified the Service of your intent to submit a proposal. You must accept the invitation before you can access the Teams site to upload your proposal. The Service will not accept proposals submitted in hardcopy or via another electronic platform, including email. See Prospectus Part II Proposal Instructions for details on submitting an Electronic Proposal.
Notifications about this Prospectus To be put on a contact list to receive amendments or any additional information specific to the Prospectus, interested parties must provide their contact information (name, email address, and phone number) to the Service via email at IMR_concessions@nps.gov. The contact list already includes the Existing Concessioners.
