Description
PPPL currently has on-site, multiple fuel dispensing and storage container systems that require routine maintenance, inspection and repair. PPPL is seeking to enter an agreement with a vendor to provide these services. The fuels currently dispensed and stored on site are, No. 2 Fuel Oil, Diesel, Biodiesel, Gasoline. Fuel storage containers range from steel tanks to concrete ConVault units, from 500 to 25,000 gallons. Some of these systems utilize Diesel-Pure filtering systems that require regular filter change-outs
The Subcontractor shall provide all materials, labor, supervision, equipment, and expertise required to complete formal inspections and manufacturer required service for all dispensing, storage, monitoring/alarm and filtering systems on a Semi-Annual Basis. Subcontractor shall also provide On-Call emergency service / repair if required by PPPL personnel.
The Subcontractor shall provide routine preventive maintenance (filter changes, etc.) and inspections for fuel dispensing equiopment and deisel generators and fuel storage tanks.. In addition, the Subcontractor shall also provide the repair of any minor deficiencies found and shall report any serious problems immediately to the PTR or their designee and shall confirm them in writing on the service report. For each system, the Subcontractor shall prepare and submit copies of reports showing items inspected, tested, repaired or replaced, and notes of any items of concern signed by the performing technician
