Description
This announcement is a Notice of Intent to Single Source - Direct Current Back-Up System (DC BUS) Contract Ceiling Value Increase in Support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Power Services Group.
The FAA intends to issue a single source contract modification to increase the ceiling value of the existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract 693KA8-20-D-00011 awarded to Oceus Networks, LLC.
In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. This modification is single sourced due to expanded program use driven by funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). This will allow the FAA to continue providing conditioned, uninterruptible electrical power to support critical National Air Space (NAS) communication and electronic equipment.
