The University Medical Center (UMC) of Southern Nevada is seeking bids for the remodel of floors 2 and 6 in the Summit Tower at 2040 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV. - Project Scope: - Remodel of approximately 2,574 sq ft on the 2nd floor (to vanilla shell) and 9,260 sq ft on the 6th floor (demolition and rebuild) - Includes demolition, asbestos abatement (if needed), new plumbing, HVAC, electrical, finishes, millwork, and communications infrastructure - Integration of new card readers with the Honeywell access control system - Handling and reinstallation of telemetry antennas, Centrak devices, and wireless access points - Strict compliance with UMC's infection control and safety standards - OEMs and Product Requirements: - Door hardware and access controls must be Schlage, Von Duprin, LCN, and Select (no substitutes) - Paint brands specified as Sherwin-Williams (Pro Industrial, B53W01053) and Dunn Edwards (Versasatin) with no substitutes allowed - Notable Requirements: - Contractors must have appropriate Nevada licenses and experience in operational hospital environments - Work to be performed during weekday daytime hours; major utility disruptions must be scheduled after hours - Mandatory pre-bid conference attendance, bid bonds, insurance, and compliance with disadvantaged business enterprise and preference eligibility - No other OEMs are specified beyond those for hardware, access controls, and paint.

The project includes building out approximately 2,574 square feet on the second floor to a vanilla shell and demolishing and building out 9,260 square feet on the sixth floor.
