The City of Ocala is seeking a qualified vendor to migrate Ocala Electric Utilities' GIS from Esri’s Geometric Network to the Esri ArcGIS Utility Network platform. - Government Buyer: - City of Ocala, Purchasing Department, for Ocala Electric Utilities - OEMs and Vendors: - Esri (Environmental Systems Research Institute) is the primary OEM, with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Utility Network as core products - System Integrator (vendor to be selected) will oversee the migration and technical implementation - Products/Services Requested: - Migration of GIS data and systems from Esri Geometric Network to Esri ArcGIS Utility Network - Transition to ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise environment - System integration services including: - Planning, strategy development, and data assessment - System design, configuration, and data migration - Validation, documentation, and knowledge transfer - Coordination with third-party vendors for proprietary system integrations - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendor must have proven experience with Esri Utility Network implementations - Must provide references for similar projects and evidence of current Esri partnership - Completion of the City’s technology questionnaire is required - Oversight and technical responsibility remain with the selected System Integrator - Migration may involve reconfiguration, replacement, or retirement of existing system integrations
Description
The City of Ocala is seeking a qualified vendor to perform a comprehensive migration from its existing Geometric Network environment to Esri's ArcGIS Utility Network platform for Ocala Electric Utilities. The project includes planning, strategy development, data assessment and preparation, system design, configuration, data migration, validation, documentation, and knowledge transfer. The migration involves transitioning from legacy 32-bit GIS technology to a modern ArcGIS Enterprise environment and may require reconfiguration or replacement of integrations with other systems. The vendor will act as the System Integrator and must demonstrate experience with Utility Network implementations and provide references and evidence of Esri partnership.
